SUMMARY:
Organizes annual giving and donor initiatives, participating in the cultivation and solicitation of donors, and provides general operational or strategic support to other Development Department activities.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Essential duties and responsibilities include, and are not strictly limited to, the following:
- Assists the Vice President in planning, organizing, and facilitating departmental activities.
- Researches, coordinates, and finalizes grant proposals, reports, and grant compliance materials and submits them in a timely fashion.
- Coordinates the Annual Fund campaign and generates requests in conjunction with the volunteer committee and staff.
- Identifies, cultivates, and solicits assigned prospect pool.
- Plans, organizes, and implements donor cultivation activities and recognition activities, and assists in researching donor prospects.
- Assist in the planning and execution of special events.
- Assists the Vice President in implementing development strategies and objectives for MBC and its subsidiaries.
- Develops templates for donor appeal letters, invitations, and reports.
- Other duties may be assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position has no direct supervisory responsibilities.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor's degree (B.A..) from four-year college or university; minimum of 2 years experience supporting development efforts within a non-profit organization, including an understanding of developing and cultivating donor relationships and related support processes; demonstrated administrative and organizational experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
