RECREATION MANAGER

Will manage the ongoing developing and implementation of the Recreation Therapy program that is designed to meet the social, psychosocial and therapeutic needs of LIFE Pittsburgh Participants. Accountable for ensuring that the Recreation Therapy department plans, develops and executes programs that embrace and respect the multi-faceted health problems of the Elderly. Responsible for the operational components of the Recreation Therapy Departments located in the multiple Day Health Centers of LIFE Pittsburgh. Requires Current Certified Therapeutic Specialist Certification, Bachelor Degree, Management experience and a Minimum of one (1) year with a Geriatric Therapy program, in a hospital, long-term care facility, or community setting.
