Position Opportunity:
The Greater Philadelphia Urban Affairs Coalition has an opportunity for a self-motivated project planner with excellent writing, technical skills, and attention to detail to be Web and Database Coordinator for its Advancement Department. The Coordinator will be proactive, creative, and organized, with the ability to motivate others in this fast-paced, highly visible office. This position provides the opportunity to be on the ground floor of two major projects: design and launch of a new website (Drupal-based CMS) and development of a donor-management database using the Salesforce platform.
Responsibilities:
•Web Management: project management support for launch of new website; web updates and troubleshooting; Search Engine Optimization; train employees in web updates; create protocol for web update approvals; use social marketing media to drive site traffic
•Organizational Communications: write, design and manage organizational email communications, route email inquiries; create Powerpoint presentations; author organizational style guide; write, design and produce quarterly employee newsletter
•Media Relations: schedule and content preparation for CEO’s weekly radio show
•Database Management: “superuser” for Salesforce - assist in implementation and data conversion; monitor protocols for all users; provide ongoing training and reporting support; assure integrity of data through weekly data update reviews.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in web and database maintenance.
Excellent oral and written communications skills (a skills-test will be administered).
Project management skills and graphic design experience; analytical thinking; speed, flexibility and a good sense of humor.
