Volunteer Program Manager, Carnegie Science Center - Pittsburgh, PA

Carnegie Science Center seeks a Volunteer Program Manager. Position coordinates all aspects of the Carnegie Science Center Volunteer Program including recruiting, interviewing and placement, along with day-to-day management and record keeping. The position works closely with CSC supervisors to identify potential volunteer positions, develop clear job descriptions, secure appropriate volunteers to fill positions and ongoing monitoring of progress and troubleshooting. $30,000/year. The successful candidate will have a college degree and 2-3 years working with volunteers, recruiting and coordinating volunteer activities, or related experience. Must possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills. Must be a self-starter with demonstrated ability to multi-task and be adept at electronic communications.
